Welcome to our project! We're running two Hellaverse Zines by fans for Fans: "One Helluva Zine - Volume 2" and introducing our new Hazbin Hotel zine "A Happy Zine in Hell - Volume 1"!Applications are open from Nov. 10 to Dec. 1st!
ABOUT THE PROJECT
One Helluva Zine - Volume 2 is a follow up to the first volume published in 2022. This charity project aims to celebrate the second season of Helluva Boss by showcasing the passion and talent of the fandom with artists, writers, cosplayers, and other creatives all in a limited run fanzine.
Joining alongside One Helluva Zine is A Happy Zine in Hell, a Hazbin Hotel fanzine that aims to accomplish the same goals as One Helluva Zine, but instead celebrates the first season of Hazbin Hotel.The proceeds from these zines will be split between Doctors Without Borders and the Canadian Film Institute.These zines are made by fans for fans and are not official in any capacity.For more information, please look at our FAQ or contact us via email or social media.

You know them! That goblin that bounces around fandoms but always returns to the Hellaverse cause it's her home! Founder of OHZ and the one that manages all them Social Medias, she had 4 zines under their belt and enough experience as an animator and illustrator to manage a big project like this.
Sequoia
Art, Merch, & Shipping Mod
Hi there! I'm Sequoia and I'm thrilled to be returning as the art, merch, and shipping mod for this zine! I have experience moderating six (!!!) Hellaverse zines, including the ones I'm writing this bio for! My other mod experience includes the very first One Helluva Zine, Hell Couture: A Hellaverse Fashion Zine, The One and Only Fizz Zine, and Hell's Greatest Cookbook! Alex Brightman has lovingly told me that zine work is practically my full time job and at this rate, he's probably right! When not busy with zines, I can be found drawing fanart, playing visual novels, listening to showtunes, or daydreaming about fictional hedgehogs.

Lead Writing Mod
I'm Ryo and I've been obsessing over Robo Fizz for years. I've been the editor on several zines in the Hellaverse fandom including the first volume of OHZ, The One and Only, and Hell Couture. I'm happy be returning for the second volume of OHZ and excited to see Hazbin added into the mix. In addition to zines, I also created and maintain a database of all official Vivziepop merch which is no small task these days. While most of my contributions to the fandom have been administrative in nature, I also throw my fanfics into the void when I have time.

Howdy! I am Nat, most of you do not know me well, but for those who do know that once I get into the hellaverse, I can be very passionate about my interests! I have been a mod before, not for a zine but for a relatively large Aminos (2019-2023)! So I have quite the experience with big projects involving lots of people. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with for our zine!

Hello, I’m Noir! Anything with musical theatre and biblical mythology will always get me foaming at the mouth, so becoming a Hellaverse fan was inevitable. I've been a mod for over 30 zines since 2022, including finance modding for Legends of the Sea: One Piece mythology zine, Guiding Stars: Fire Emblem 3 Houses Blue Lions zine, Soaring to the Skies: One Piece Marco zine, and more. I'm super excited to be part of OHZ and AHZIH!

Hey there, it’s Zygo! I’m so thrilled to be joining this project as a graphic design mod! I have been involved in the zine community since 2020 and have been involved in over 30 projects as both a moderator and contributor; you can find all of my experience listed on my Carrd! In my spare time you can find me designing new merch for my small business. I’m stoked to see this zine come to fruition and thank you for all your support!

FAQ
What is a Zine?
A fanzine is a self-published magazine featuring works related to a particular fandom. They most often feature fanart and fanfics, but can contain anything related to the fandom to which they are dedicated.
What kind of project is this?
This project is for all Hellaverse fans! We will be putting together two fan made magazines for anyone to purchase.
Is this an art-only zine?
Nope! Those who practice other creative arts are more than welcome. Writers, cosplayers, cooks, craft makers, you name it! We'd love to show all sides and aspects of the artistic potential our fandom has.
Will this zine be physical or digital?
Both! The zine will be offered for sale in both a physical, softcover perfect bound booklet and as a digital PDF.
Could I participate in the zine?
As long as applications are open, shoot your shot! We do NOT operate on a first-come-first-serve basis so take your time to build your portfolio to the best it can be. Quality over quantity. Just remember: applications close December 1st! CLICK HERE TO APPLY!
I applied to the zine, but was asked to be a pinch hitter. What do I do now?
As a pinch hitter, you may be asked to step into the project should one of our current contributors drop out. For now, you don’t have to do much ! It’s always a good idea to have some concepts in mind for what you would like to make if you were asked to step in, but we don’t want you to get started on anything since there is no guarantee that any contributors will need to leave the project.
Will there be “shipping” in the zine?
Yes and no. To avoid any kind of shipping drama we will only be allowing canon ships in pieces where a ship is the main focus. Implying or teasing a non-canon ship is completely okay.
Is this zine project for profit or for charity?
It is for charity! One Helluva Zine is 100% a charity project and all proceeds will be split between Doctors Without Borders and the Canadian Film Institute.
When and where can I get a copy?
We are currently in our 'contributor applications' phase. It will be some time before a pre-order date is decided, but you can watch our timeline here and stay updated through our social medias linked at the bottom of this page!
How much will each zine cost?
We don’t have a solid price yet, but our current estimates are:
> $15 - Digital PDF of the zine
> $30-40 - Physical Zine
> $70+ - Physical Zine + Fan merch!
These are not final prices and are always subject to change.
How big will each zine be?
They will be 6in x 9in with anywhere between 120-160 pages.
Are the zines a limited run?
For the moment, yes! Preorders and any subsequent leftover sales will be the only time you will be able to obtain the physical zines or any merch produced with them.
